I first studied Japanese when I was 19 years old. I started Japanese when I was a student at Yale University, where I majored in East Asian Languages and History.
With my knowledge of Japanese, I understand the reasons for your difficulties in English Speaking, Accent and Writing.
I also understand the cultural differences between Japan and the West. In my Online English Lessons for Japanese speakers, I can help you be more effective and comfortable in the English-speaking world.
I am a world expert in English pronunciation and accent. I have long experience in solving the accent and pronunciation problems of Japanese speakers. I can fix the “R” and “L” problem in English in 5 minutes!
SPECIAL ENGLISH PROBLEMS FOR JAPANESE SPEAKERS
My Online English Lessons for Japanese Speakers specialize in Japanese students.
The issues of pronunciation for Japanese speakers are very easy to fix. The “big” problem is with “R” and “L.” 本当に , that is very “small” problem! In my Online English Lessons for Japanese Speakers, we fix this problem permanently in 5 minutes! I promise! In many, many years of giving English classes for Japanese speakers, I have developed my own method for this. It always works!
There is another problem for Japanese speakers in English. Most English teachers (ESL teachers) no not understand this. I understand it because I know how the Japanese language works.
The structure (you can say the “architecture”) of a Japanese sentence is very different from an English sentence. In Japanese, you begin with a long introduction (called a “clause”); in the middle there is often a small “particle” word (like “は“ or “が” or “も”) that sends the sentence in this direction or that direction; then at the end, you finish the idea and have the main verb.
In English, it is the opposite! You start with the main noun and main verb (action word), then you add other ideas at the end. English is much more direct (and therefore, it is much easier).
There are two other big differences for Japanese speakers. In English, every verb (action word) must have a specific person or thing doing that action. Who is doing it must be clear. This is not true in Japanese: These things are not spoken directly. In English, they must be spoken directly.
The other issue for Japanese speakers is politeness. In my Online English Classes for Japanese Speakers, I teach very, very polite English. You can talk to a king! But the way to be polite in English is very different than in Japanese. I will teach you those differences.
In my Online English Classes for Japanese Speakers, you also learn English Presentation Skills. Presentation is very different in English and Japanese. This is not only a language issue. It is also a cultural issue. My long experience with Japan and Japanese students make my Online English Classes for Japanese Speakers unique – and also fun!

TESTIMONIAL
“I studied English grammar and vocabulary for many years. However, when I wrote an email at work, no one could understand it! Christopher showed me how to think in an ‘English’ way. It is very different from the Japanese way. He taught me that the best English is the most simple English. Everyone at work noticed the difference!”
