Sounds and Phonetics
When it comes to sounds and phonetics, I can give you two pieces of good news.
First, there is no sound that is “difficult” to make. All speech is simply air, which is shaped through the throat and the mouth. That’s all it is! You can shape that air any way you want. It is not difficult.
Speakers of Japanese, Korean and some other Asian languages have trouble with the “R” and “L” sounds. This is an EASY (!!) problem to fix. I have a unique method of fixing the “R” and “L” problem in 5 minutes! I promise!
French speakers often have trouble with the “th” sound in English. That is even easier. My Online English Pronunciation Lessons fixe that problem in 3 minutes. That is also a promise!
Now – about “phonetics”: I do not like the word “phonetics.” It makes something easy sound difficult – and boring!
To improve your English pronunciation, you do not need long, boring phonetic exercises. What you need is to train your ear! Your ear is your best teacher – always, always, always. I will teach you how to listen and learn from everyone you meet.
